The only silk weaving mill in the Nordic countries that still produces silk fabrics and ribbons on original machines in its original 19th-century factory environment. As a museum, this is Stockholm's only fully preserved industrial monument and also Scandinavia's oldest industrial environment.

I worked as a silk weaver & guide between July 2019 - October 2020.

During this period I worked with the weaving mill's two jacquard looms. my duties were to flush, warp & sley.

I worked on repairing the weaving machine's  such the mechanical ribbon loom.

During four weeks in september 2020 I had the honor of working with the Damask Master Hans Thomsson.

Hans Thomsson shared his deep knowledge in damask

technique. Together we investigated how holding cards are designed  to create new patterns in an ancient jacquard and we repaired the large jacquard loom.
